Abstract

It can be observed that holography is one of the innovative inventions in the field of visualization, intelligent communication and intelligent computing. With holography, one can visualize 3D realities through immersive visualization rather than using traditional 2D visualization display systems. The modern technological innovations like AI, IoT, AR, VR, Edge computing and communication technologies can play an important role in developing holography. In this paper, an extensive study is undertaken for investigating about the holography systems and its contribution in intelligent engineering environment. In this study, the aspects of holography, technologies involved in the holography, holography system architecture, implementation of holography, applications, computational models of holography and future possibilities are explored in detail. An intelligent holography framework is suggested by this research work by considering the concepts of AI, IoT, Cloud-edge Computing, and adaptive rendering technologies. The challenges like computational challenges, latency challenge, scalability challenge, security threats, bandwidth challenge, and hardware challenges associated with holography are also investigated in this research. The future trends in terms of holographic telepresence, metaverse technologies, AI based holography visualization technologies and 6G based immersive communication technologies are analyzed thoroughly in this research. As a result, future holographic technologies will definitely become part of smart environments and human-centered computing.

Full Article/Conclusion

The creation of holograms is a revolution in the sphere of visualization, communication, and human interaction with intelligent technology. Holograms are based on AI and IoT technology that gives them a fully three-dimensional environment as well as an intelligent adaptive system. This paper thoroughly discussed the concept of holographic systems, architecture, technology, strategy, application domains, challenges, and future trends. This created intelligent framework helped to understand how holographic systems can be used in industry, medicine, education, and in teleconferences for visualization and adaptation. Although there were many challenges in the field of computations, delays, hardware, and security threats, further technological advancements prove that holograms are capable of providing much benefit in such spheres as Industry 5.0, metaverses, smart cities, and future intelligent infrastructure
