The purpose of the study was to look into how several aspects of college students’ physical fitness were affected by an aerobic and anaerobic training regimen. Forty-five (N = 45) students from an Anantapur college associated with Sri Krishnadevaraya University were chosen as subjects in order to fulfill the study’s objectives. The age range of the subjects was 18 to 25. The participants were split up into three equal groups of fifteen people each. For a duration of 12 weeks, groups I and II (n = 15 each) participated in aerobic exercise groups (AEG and ANAEG), whereas group III (n = 15) served as the control group (CG) and did not take part in any particular training program. Every group has fifteen subjects. Components of physical fitness A 50-yard test was used to measure speed; a 4-by-10-meter shuttle run test was used to measure agility; a 12-minute cooper run/walk test was used to measure cardiovascular endurance; all measurements were expressed in meters. According to the study’s findings, college students’ speed, agility, and cardiovascular endurance all significantly improved with an aerobic and anaerobic training regimen. Additionally, it was determined that, when compared to anaerobic exercise, aerobic activity significantly improved cardio vascular endurance, and that, when compared to anaerobic exercise, aerobic exercise significantly improved speed and agility.
