Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Firm’s Performance: A study on Hindustan Unilever Limited after implementation of Companies Act 2013.

Abstract:-

This study is focused on the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Firm’s Performance based on six years data ranging from 2014-15 to 2019-20 collected from the published annual reports of the selected company. The objective behind the study is to highlight on the spending of Hindustan Unilever Limited towards Corporate Social Responsibility related activities and reporting made as per Companies Act of 2013. Regression Analysis is adopted to find out the impact of dependent variable such as ROCE and RONW on the independent variable during the period under study. The results showed that CSR activities played insignificant role to bring any change on the financial performance of HUL.
