We aim to explore how practices like credit policies, collection procedures, and credit analysis techniques influence profitability metrics. The core of the investigation lies in understanding how efficiently companies convert credit sales into actual cash flow. A central focus will be on analyzing the impact of receivables management on key profitability ratios, such as return on assets and operating profit margin. We will explore how factors like the speed of collections, measured by days sales outstanding (DSO), affect a company's ability to generate profits.
