The rapid development of digital technology has transformed the way businesses operate and communicate with customers. Social media platforms have become powerful tools for marketing, communication, and brand development, especially for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This research paper examines the impact of social media on the growth and development of SMEs. The study focuses on how SMEs use social media platforms to promote their products and services, interact with customers, increase brand awareness, and expand their market reach. The research is based on both primary and secondary data collected through surveys, online responses, and existing literature. The findings reveal that social media plays a significant role in improving customer engagement, reducing marketing costs, and enhancing business visibility. At the same time, businesses face certain challenges such as negative online feedback, technological barriers, and lack of expertise in digital marketing. Overall, the study concludes that social media has become an essential business tool for SMEs. When used effectively, it can contribute significantly to business growth, customer retention, and competitive advantage in the market.
