Work-life balance has become a significant concern in today's organizational environment due to increasing workload, technological advancement, and changing workplace expectations. Organizations increasingly demand high productivity and efficiency from employees, leading to longer working hours, stress, and reduced personal time. Work-life balance plays a major role in influencing employee mental wellbeing, productivity, and job satisfaction. The present study examines the relationship between work-life balance and employee mental wellbeing among professionals working in urban organizations. The study focuses on important dimensions such as working hours, overtime frequency, schedule flexibility, workload pressure, after-hours communication, and organizational support. Data were collected from employees through structured questionnaires, and statistical tools such as percentage analysis and Chi-square analysis were used for interpretation. Findings indicate that employees experience increased stress and mental exhaustion due to extended work schedules and continuous digital connectivity. Results further reveal that employees who receive higher organizational support and flexible work arrangements demonstrate better mental wellbeing compared with employees experiencing excessive work pressure. The study concludes by recommending employee wellness initiatives, supportive managerial practices, and flexible work arrangements to create sustainable and healthy workplaces.
