This paper highlights the advanced algorithm for fire detection, which can be used for improving fire detection technology in order to provide better safety for people. To ensure more accurate detection of flames and smoke in different conditions, YOLOv10 algorithm was introduced by this research group. This project suggests several significant improvements of the YOLO framework in order to cope with such issues as the presence of cluttered environment, low visibility, various levels of intensity of fire as well as overlapping of other objects in the image. In order to solve these issues, the proposed system applies advanced feature extraction and attention techniques to detect small but important details related to fire and exclude all unnecessary background information from consideration. In addition, the proposed system implements the advanced bounding box regression technique to enable better localization of fire elements on images and in video sequences. Results of the experiments conducted with this model indicate superior performance compared to similar approaches like YOLOv5s in terms of mAP, precision and recall metrics. Besides, the processing speed is relatively fast, thus making the model applicable for industrial purposes.
KEYWORDS
By making improvements like enhanced feature extraction, attention mechanisms, and better bounding box regression, the system becomes capable of accurately detecting flames and smoke. Generally, this project plays a key role in the creation of advanced fire detection systems that incorporate other features such as multi-hazard detection, edge computing and IoT connectivity. through the integration of features such as enhanced feature extraction, attention mechanisms, and better bounding box regression, the system becomes capable of accurately locating the position of flames and smoke in difficult circumstances. The ability of the system to operate in real time and adapt to changing environments makes it useful in enhancing fire detection safety and preventive measures. The technology will prove useful in any environment where the fire hazard is present. Summary As can be seen from this project, it is evident that the YOLOv10 algorithm has the capability of improving fire detection systems in a way that is both effective and precise through its ability to effectively address issues such as clutters, different intensities of fires, and poor visibility among others.
