This paper analyses the status of women Empowerment as per the constitution of India, highlighting the laws of constitution of India meant for women empowerment. Here, Importance of women empowerment and laws related women empowerment are also highlighted which are for the betterment of women in India. The data used in the present study is based on secondary sources. The study realizes that the need for women empowerment in India constitutionally is not enough. The study concludes that there is a need to create a secured environment for women so that she would be able to express freely. The role of women in today’s world is changing significantly which is why empowerment of women is a need.
