Elderly individuals require continuous health super- vision, home safety, and timely emergency interventions. Existing solutions are either costly or require constant manual monitoring. This paper proposes an IoT-enabled Smart Elder Care System that integrates real-time health monitoring, intrusion detection, and emergency response in a single low-cost framework. The system uses NodeMCU ESP8266 as the central controller along with sensors for vital sign monitoring and home safety detection. Emergency alerts are sent locally via buzzer and LED, and remotely through GSM messages and cloud dashboards using ThingSpeak. MQTT protocol ensures reliable real-time com- munication. The system aims to enhance elderly independence, safety, and provide reassurance to caregivers.
