The proliferation of cloud-native architectures and microservices has intensified the demand for robust, repeatable software delivery mechanisms. Jenkins, as a widely adopted open-source automation server, occupies a central position in modern Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This paper presents a rigorous empirical evaluation of Jenkins-driven DevOps automation, examining deployment efficiency, pipeline scalability, and security posture relative to manual deployment baselines. Drawing on controlled experimental data across 20 pipeline executions, corroborated by real-world case evidence from published literature, we demonstrate that Jenkins automation reduces mean deployment time by up to 81%, lowers deployment failure rates by 87%, and increases build throughput sixfold. Furthermore, we investigate the integration of Jenkins with Docker and Kubernetes for elastic scalability, and with HashiCorp Vault and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for DevSecOps hardening. Our findings align with DORA 2024 elite-performer benchmarks and carry implications for resource-constrained environments such as Indian IT SMEs and solo DevOps practitioners. The paper also outlines future directions including AI-augmented pipelines, GitOps adoption, and multi-cloud orchestration.
