This paper presents the design and development of a web-based Learning Management System Titled Learning Path Dashboard for Skill Enhancement. The system is developed using the MERN stack, which includes MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The platform provides a structured environment for students to enhance their skills through organized learning paths and an interactive dashboard. The system allows users to register, log in, browse available courses, enroll in them, and access video-based learning content. It also enables users to track their learning progress through a centralized dashboard that displays completed and ongoing courses. Instructors can create and manage course content, while administrators oversee user management and system data. The main focus of the system is to provide efficient course management, structured learning paths, and clear progress tracking. The platform is designed to be user-friendly, scalable, and responsive, making it suitable for modern educational needs. The implementation demonstrates how a simplified Learning Management System can effectively support skill development without relying on complex features.
KEYWORDS
The developed system was tested with multiple users to evaluate its functionality, performance, and usability. Various test cases were executed to ensure that all modules of the Learning Path Dashboard for Skill Enhancement operate correctly under different conditions. The results demonstrate that the system performs efficiently and meets the intended objectives. Users are able to successfully register and log into the platform using secure authentication mechanisms. The course enrollment process functions correctly, allowing users to select and access courses without errors. The system dynamically updates user progress based on completed lessons and modules. This real-time progress tracking is reflected accurately on the dashboard, which displays key information such as completed courses, ongoing courses, and overall progress percentage. In addition, the dashboard provides a clear and organized visualization of user activity, helping learners monitor their performance effectively. The system maintains consistency and responsiveness across different devices, ensuring a smooth user experience. Overall, the results confirm that the system is reliable, user-friendly, and capable of supporting structured learning and skill enhancement.
