Urban air pollution and climate change require innovative and sustainable solutions to improve environmental quality and public health. This paper presents the design and implementation of a Liquid Tree (LIQUID3 Photobioreactor), inspired by natural photosynthesis processes performed by trees. The proposed system integrates a transparent photobioreactor tank, microalgae culture, air circulation system, and environmental monitoring sensors to absorb carbon dioxide (CO₂) and release oxygen efficiently. The architecture enables continuous air purification through controlled biological processes and supports real-time monitoring of parameters such as light intensity, temperature, and CO₂ concentration. Unlike traditional trees, the Liquid Tree can be installed in limited urban spaces while delivering comparable or higher air purification efficiency. The system demonstrates effective carbon capture, oxygen generation, and environmental sustainability in compact city environments. Performance analysis shows improved air quality, reduced carbon footprint, and efficient space utilization. Future scope includes IoT-based monitoring, AI-driven optimization, and large-scale deployment in smart cities.
