In recent years, biometrics authentication has seen considerable improvements in reliability and accuracy, with some of the traits offering good performance. The reason to combine different modalities is to improve recognition rate. The aim of multi biometrics is to reduce one or more of the following: FAR (False Acceptance Rate): It is a measure of the percent of invalid inputs that are incorrectly accepted.
