Object detection plays a crucial role in modern au-tomation, surveillance, and smart sensing systems. This paper presents the design and implementation of an intelligent radar-based object detection sys-tem integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) tech-nology. The proposed system utilizes radar sensors to detect the presence, distance, and motion of ob-jects in real-time, overcoming limitations of tradi-tional vision-based systems such as poor perfor-mance in low-light, fog, or harsh environmental conditions. The intelligent radar module operates by transmitting electromagnetic waves and analyz-ing the reflected signals to identify object charac-teristics. Signal processing techniques such as filter-ing and threshold detection are applied to improve detection accuracy and reduce noise. A microcon-troller is used to process radar data and classify ob-ject presence, while IoT connectivity enables re-mote monitoring and data transmission through wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi or MQTT. The system is designed with low power con-sumption and cost-effectiveness in mind, making it suitable for applications in smart homes, industrial automation, traffic monitoring, and security sys-tems. Real-time data collected from the radar sen-sor is transmitted to a cloud platform, where it can be visualized and analyzed for further decision-making. Alerts and notifications can also be gener-ated when specific conditions are met, enhancing system responsiveness. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system provides re-liable and accurate object detection with improved performance in challenging environmental condi-tions compared to conventional sensor systems. The integration of intelligent radar with IoT enhances scalability, flexibility, and remote accessibility, making it a promising solution for next-generation smart sensing applications.
KEYWORDS
intelligent radar integrated with IoT has been successfully designed and implemented. The system demonstrated efficient performance in detecting objects based on distance and motion under various environmental conditions. Unlike traditional camera-based systems, the radar-based approach proved to be highly reliable in challenging situations such as low light, fog, and dust. The integration of IoT enabled real-time data transmission and remote monitoring, allowing users to access system information from anywhere. The system provided quick response and instant alerts when objects were detected within a specified range, making it suitable for safety and surveillance applications. The experimental results confirmed that the system is capable of delivering accurate and stable performance with minimal delay. Overall, the project highlights that combining intelligent radar with IoT creates a robust, cost-effective, and scalable solution for modern object detection systems. It can be effectively used in various fields such as smart cities, industrial automation, traffic monitoring, and security systems. Although the system performs efficiently, there are several enhancements that can be implemented to improve its capabilities further. In the future, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms can be integrated to help in identifying different types of objects such as humans, vehicles, or obstacles. The system can be upgraded to support multi-object tracking, which will improve accuracy when multiple objects are present simultaneously. Increasing the detection range and improving signal processing techniques can enhance system performance for large-scale applications. Integration with cloud computing platforms can enable better data storage, analysis, and visualization over time. The system can be combined with other sensors such as cameras or LiDAR to create a hybrid detection system for improved accuracy and reliability. Future development can also focus on reducing power consumption, making the system suitable for battery-operated and portable devices. The application of this system can be extended to autonomous vehicles, smart traffic control systems, defense applications, and advanced security systems. In conclusion, the proposed system has strong potential for further development and can play a significant role in the advancement of intelligent and automated detection technologies.
