Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to examine the origins and development of the Global Resistance Movement in solidarity with the Palestinian people. Additionally, the paper explores the role of global citizens in opposing the actions of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) that contribute to ongoing violence against the population of Gaza. This analysis is grounded in a review of diverse news reports and multimedia content disseminated through social media platforms, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the worldwide solidarity movement supporting Gaza. Furthermore, the study seeks to assess the extent and intensity of citizen participation, highlighting the movement’s distinctiveness within the historical context of collective human activism.
