Abstract

tems has created a growing demand for integrated platforms capa-ble of managing pet-related services, adoption workflows, caretaker coordination, product marketplaces, and real-time monitoring within a unified environment. Traditional pet management systems often operate as isolated applications with limited interoperability, inef-ficient communication mechanisms, and minimal real-time analytical capabilities. Furthermore, the absence of centralized platforms creates challenges for pet owners in accessing verified caretakers, adoption services, secure product purchasing systems, and live pet monitoring functionalities. This paper presents PetX (v2), a comprehensive full-stack web platform designed to provide an intelligent and scalable ecosystem for pet owners, caretakers, sellers, and adoption agencies. The proposed framework integrates real-time pet tracking, interactive pet adoption services, role-based dashboards, e-commerce functionalities, secure communication systems, and caretaker management within a single responsive platform. The frontend architecture is developed using React.js with Vite and TailwindCSS to provide a modern, responsive, and highly interactive user experience. Leaflet and React Leaflet are integrated for real-time geographical visualization and live pet tracking functionalities. The backend is implemented using Node.js and Express.js, while Socket.io enables real-time communication and synchronization be-tween users, caretakers, and sellers. MongoDB with Mongoose ODM is utilized for scalable data storage and efficient database manage-ment. The system additionally incorporates Cloudinary for secure image handling, Nodemailer for OTP-based authentication and verification workflows, and Razorpay integration for seamless online payment processing. Role-based dashboards provide customized operational environments for users, sellers, and caretakers, enabling efficient order management, service coordination, and communication. Experimental implementation demonstrates that the proposed platform successfully integrates marketplace management, adoption workflows, real-time mapping systems, secure authentication mech-anisms, and communication infrastructure into a unified pet care ecosystem. The modular architecture, scalable backend services, and responsive frontend framework establish PetX (v2) as a practical and extensible solution for modern digital pet care and management systems.

Full Article/Conclusion

PetX (v2) is a comprehensive digital platform designed to simplify and modernize pet care management through the integration of marketplace services, pet adoption systems, real-time tracking, caretaker coordination, communication infras-tructure, and secure transaction workflows within a unified ecosystem. The proposed platform successfully combines modern fron-tend technologies, scalable backend services, real-time com-munication pipelines, and interactive mapping systems to create a responsive and efficient operational environment for pet owners, sellers, and caretakers. The integration of React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, Socket.io, Leaflet, Cloudinary, Nodemailer, and Razorpay establishes a modular architecture capable of supporting scalable service management and re-sponsive user interaction. Experimental implementation demonstrated that the frame-work effectively supports real-time communication, secure authentication, dynamic product management, geographical tracking, and centralized dashboard operations. The role-based management system further improves operational efficiency by providing customized interfaces for different categories of users. The platform addresses several limitations present in tradi-tional pet care applications by integrating multiple isolated services into a single intelligent ecosystem. The modular design, scalable infrastructure, and real-time synchronization capabilities establish PetX (v2) as a practical and extensible solution for modern digital pet care management. Overall, PetX (v2) demonstrates the potential of full-stack web technologies and real-time communication infrastructures in transforming traditional pet service environments into intel-ligent, centralized, and user-friendly digital ecosystems capa-ble of supporting future technological expansion and large-scale deployment.
