Prime Lux Cars intends to build a worldwide premium booking platform of vehicles to service corporate and executive customers and luxury leisure travelers. The profiles that this report describes target are:- Business Travelers, Corporate Travel Managers, Event Planners, Luxury Tourist etc. and lists a set of desired features based on the market leaders such as Uber BLACK, Lyft LUX, Blacklane, GroundLink and Addison Lee. Key functions will include: real-time booking, different vehicle tiers ( luxury cars, SUV's, vans), in app communication tools, rating system, secure and diverse payment options, integrated booking and travel journey (flight information, managing journey and multiple drop-off journey). The premium features include hourly chauffeurs, corporate billing and payment plans, loyalty scheme and fixed inclusive rates (no peak pricing). We discuss UX/UI best practices for web and mobile, recommend a microservices-based technical architecture with real-time services (websockets, Kafka) and robust security/compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR). Essential 3rd party integrations (payment, SMS/email, mapping API's, identity verification, insurers) defined. For operational aspects we plan to cover fleet/driver onboarding (background verification, vehicle maintenance), customer service workflow and disputes resolution policy (based on industry best practice). We predict it will take roughly 6-9 months to develop an MVP by a small Agile team (5-8 developers and designers/QA) with essential features in an initial city. A full-featured 1.0 release (including all premium functionality and global scaling) may take 12–18 months with 10–15 engineers. Cost is roughly \$300K–\$500K for MVP and \$800K–\$1.2M for full product (excluding marketing/ops) (industry benchmarks). Should be deployed on the cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) on an auto-scaled, containerized and continuously monitored system. Risks are associated with compliance, such as local transportation rules, drivers' classification, technical issues like the scalability of a real time solution and competition. Risks could be mitigated through the purchase of comprehensive insurance, guaranteeing data security, diversified payment methods, diversified types of vehicles, and unique value propositions (better client experience, environmental approach, etc).
KEYWORDS
Clearly there is a gap in the market and Prime Lux Cars caters for it – with businesses and wealthy travelers requiring trusted, top-class ground transport[1][2]. This means that if PLC combines best practices of these existing players, they are able to provide a full set of features (real-time booking, a choice of luxury vehicles, a professional driver pool and services for companies) with a technically solid and law-safe platform. This solution leverages a modular microservices architecture, which has incorporated services from third party developers (payments, maps, communication)[5][30]. According to the competitive analysis, a lot of competitors do some parts of this space very well. PLC's strengths will be easy to use interface (mobile and web), simple pricing structure and quality service (certified drivers, spotless cars, promptness guarantee). Having an MVP with core functionality to be launched in ~6-9 months (full 1.0 after 12-18 months) is feasible. The most important risks ranging from technical to regulatory issues are dealt with by careful planning (e.g. Extensive legal review, robust insurance policies, security across various layers, resilient technology infrastructure). To conclude, a well-executed Prime Lux Cars platform is more than capable of satisfying the specific needs of upmarket ride-hailing customers and emerging from the competition. Through a combination of corporate-friendly functionalities (expense integrations and invoicing), luxury elements (flight tracking and concierge services) and technology strength, PLC is able to win market share and build brand loyalty within the emerging premium transportation sector.
