In recent years, the rapid growth of digital communication has increased the need for efficient meeting documentation. However, manual note-taking is time-consuming, error- prone, and often fails to capture critical insights. This paper presents “Echoes to Insights,” an AI-powered system for context-aware summarization of spoken dialogues using Large Language Models (LLMs). The proposed system integrates automatic speech recognition with advanced natural language processing techniques to convert audio recordings into accurate transcripts and generate concise summaries highlighting key ideas, decisions, and action items. The system leverages the Whisper model for transcription and LLMs via Ollama for abstractive summarization. Experimental results demonstrate improved efficiency and usability compared to traditional methods. The solution is particularly beneficial for academic, professional, and collaborative environments, enhancing productivity and information management.
