The rapid advancement of digital education demands secure, interactive, and adaptive platforms that extend beyond the capabilities of conventional Learning Management Systems (LMS). This paper introduces a Real-Time Interactive EdTech Learning Management Portal designed to enhance teaching and learning experiences through integrated calendar scheduling, smart attendance tracking, and robust LMS functionalities. The system enables efficient course planning, automated participation monitoring, and real-time engagement between educators and learners. A key differentiator of this project is the inclusion of an encrypted messaging feature, ensuring secure communication and collaboration between users—a functionality not typically available in existing platforms. By protecting sensitive academic discussions and learner data, the portal addresses critical privacy and security concerns in online education. Through its combination of interactivity, automation, and secure communication, the proposed solution advances traditional LMS models, offering a more reliable, safe, and student-centered digital learning ecosystem.
KEYWORDS
The development and implementation of the Real-Time Interactive EdTech Learning Management Portal with Calendar Scheduling, Smart Attendance, and Data-Driven Learning Assessments represent a significant advancement in the integration of technology within educational environments. Modern education increasingly demands systems that are not only capable of delivering content efficiently but also adaptable, interactive, and capable of providing actionable insights into student learning. This project addresses these requirements by designing a holistic platform that unifies multiple educational processes into a single, cohesive, and intelligent system. The conclusion summarizes the project’s contributions, the key outcomes, and its potential implications for future educational practices, emphasizing both the technical and pedagogical benefits of the system. One of the most notable achievements of the proposed system is its capacity to provide real-time interactive learning experiences. By leveraging technologies such as WebSockets and real-time video streaming, the platform allows students to engage in synchronous classes that replicate the interactive nature of traditional classrooms. Unlike conventional Learning Management Systems (LMS) that primarily focus on asynchronous content delivery, this system facilitates active engagement through collaborative tools, live chats, polls, quizzes, and breakout sessions. The results obtained during implementation and testing indicate that students participating in these interactive sessions exhibit increased engagement, motivation, and retention of knowledge. Teachers can dynamically respond to student queries and adjust their teaching strategies based on real-time feedback, creating a continuous feedback loop that enhances comprehension. This level of interactivity not only bridges the gap between physical and virtual classrooms but also fosters a more inclusive learning environment where students can participate irrespective of their geographical location. The automated calendar scheduling component of the platform has also contributed significantly to improving the management of academic activities. The system allows teachers to schedule classes, examinations, webinars, and assignment deadlines, while simultaneously checking for potential conflicts. Students receive automated reminders and notifications, ensuring that they are consistently aware of upcoming tasks and events. This integration reduces the likelihood of missed classes or late submissions, addressing a common challenge in both physical and online education settings. Furthermore, the ability to dynamically adjust schedules and propagate updates to all relevant users demonstrates the system’s flexibility and responsiveness, ensuring that the academic workflow remains smooth and coordinated even when unforeseen changes occur.
