Recognition of traffic signs is a vital yet difficult task, particularly for automated driving and driver assistance. Its precision is determined by two factors: the feature exactor and the classifier. Convolutional neural networks (CNN) are commonly used in today’s popular algorithms for feature extraction and categorization. If more favorable classifiers are used in Python, the performance may be even better. Speed limits, prohibited entry, traffic signals, turn left or right, children crossing, no passing of big trucks, and so on are all examples of traffic signs. The process of determining which class a traffic sign belongs to is known as traffic sign classification. We’ll use this to create a deep neural network model that can classify traffic signals in an image into various categories. We can read and understand traffic signs using our model, which is a critical duty for all autonomous vehicles. More than 30,000 photos of various traffic signals are included in the dataset. It’s further divided into 43 separate categories. The dataset is highly diverse; some classes have a lot of photos, while others have very few. The dataset is approximately 300MB in size. The dataset has two folders: a train folder that contains photos for each class and a test folder that will be used to evaluate our model.
