â Th In this paper, we examine the development and operationalization of remote-controlled fixed-wing aircraft, specifically through a detailed case study of a scale model of the F-22 Raptor. The discussion spans the entire process from conceptual design to the integration of electronic systems and the initial flight tests. We will also highlight the obstacles and constraints faced during the project, providing insights into the complexities of designing and building UAVs in a research context. This study aims to enrich the academic dialogue surrounding UAV engineering and model aviation. .
