Abstract

This research paper explores the feasibility of constructing with ISO shipping containers as structural elements. Widely available ISO shipping containers can be a low-cost building resource, as proven by a number of pioneering individuals. It’s unclear why these units don’t get used more frequently. The purpose of this document is to give an overview of this medium’s visibility and to identify any issues that have occurred or might happen when using it.
