Navigating college life can be overwhelming. From financial aid deadlines to finding the right classroom, students often feel lost in a sea of information. We propose a Smart College Knowledge Assistant—a friendly, AI-powered guide designed to be the single go-to source for every campus question. This assistant understands and answers questions in plain language, offering instant, personalized support 24/7. It helps students find what they need without the frustration, lets faculty focus on teaching instead of administrative queries, and frees up staff to handle more complex issues. By providing immediate and accurate answers, this digital assistant doesn't just improve efficiency; it fosters a more supportive and less stressful campus environment, helping everyone feel more connected and empowered to succeed.
KEYWORDS
The Smart College Knowledge Assistant (SCKA) successfully demonstrates how Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing can simplify information retrieval in an educational environment. By providing instant, accurate, and context-aware responses, SCKA minimizes manual administrative workload and enhances student engagement. The system’s high response accuracy (93%) and positive user feedback (88% satisfaction) confirm its reliability and effectiveness. Its modular design ensures flexibility for future enhancements such as voice command integration, multilingual support, and deeper integration with college ERP systems. Overall, SCKA represents a step toward the digital transformation of educational institutions—bridging the communication gap between students, faculty, and administration through a smart, AI-powered platform.
