Abstract

In 2026, the demand for equitable healthcare in rural and underserved regions of Tamil Nadu has necessitated the modernization of the Nadamaadum Maruthuvamanai (Mobile Health Unit) initiative. While these mobile units successfully bridge the geographical gap, traditional manual record-keeping often leads to data silos, delayed follow-ups, and inefficient resource allocation.This project proposes a Smart Health Camp Management System—an integrated digital framework designed to streamline mobile medical operations.Rapid digital registration and synchronization with the existing Population Health Registry (PHR) for continuous monitoring.Automated tracking of medical inventory and staff deployment to optimize camp schedules based on regional health trends.Integration of smart diagnostic tools for immediate screening of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), with results instantly uploaded to a centralized Health Management Information System (HMIS).A seamless digital pipeline connecting mobile units to District Headquarters Hospitals and upgraded Primary Health Centres (PHCs) for advanced care.

The system simplifies the processes of patient registration, appointment scheduling, doctor consultation, notification management, and health record maintenance through a centralized platform.
