Abstract

Smart Ingredient-Based Cooking is an advanced approach that combines artificial intelligence, machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and smart kitchen technologies to improve the cooking process. Traditional cooking methods often require users to decide recipes manually based on available ingredients, which can lead to food wastage, inefficient meal planning, and nutritional imbalance. The Proposed Smart Cooking system help users prepare meal efficiently by analyzing available ingredients and recommending suitable recipes automatically. The system can also monitor ingredient freshness, nutritional value, dietary preferences, and cooking methods. Through intelligent recommendation algorithms, users receive customized meal suggestions that save time, reduce waste, and improve healthy eating habits. Experimental results achieved 94.2%accuracy,92.8%percision, and 91.5%recall, demonstrating reliable ingredient recognition and effective recipe suggestion for smart cooking assistance. This research paper discusses the architecture, methodology, related work, system design, and future opportunities of smart ingredient-based cooking systems. The proposed system demonstrates how emerging technologies can transform conventional kitchens into intelligent cooking environments capable of assisting users in daily meal preparation with greater accuracy and convenience.
