This paper presents a Smart Intelligent Three-Phase to Single-Phase Selector designed to provide an uninterrupted and reliable single-phase power supply. The system continuously monitors the voltage of all three phases and automatically selects the healthiest phase using a microcontroller-based control mechanism. It detects phase failure, undervoltage, and overvoltage conditions, ensuring safe and efficient operation of connected loads. The proposed system reduces manual intervention, improves power reliability, and protects electrical equipment from supply disturbances, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and small industrial applications. .

This research presented the design and implementation of a Smart Intelligent 3-Phase to Single-Phase Converter using an Arduino Uno controller. The proposed system continuously monitored the availability of all three input phases and automatically selected the healthy phase to provide an uninterrupted single-phase power supply. Experimental results demonstrated that the system effectively detected phase failures and successfully switched the load to an available phase without manual intervention. The automatic phase selection mechanism improved the reliability, efficiency, and continuity of power supply while reducing downtime and human effort. Furthermore, the use of low-cost components and a microcontroller-based control strategy makes the system economical and suitable for residential, commercial, and small industrial applications. Overall, the developed system proved to be a reliable and cost-effective solution for intelligent power management. Future enhancements may include IoT-based remote monitoring, advanced fault diagnostics, and additional protection features such as overload and short-circuit protection to further improve system performance and safety.
