In today’s world, people from different languages communicate through education, business, healthcare, tourism, andsocialmedia. Butlanguagedifferencesoftencreatecommunicationproblemsandmakeitdifficulttounderstandinformationclearly. Tosolvethisproblem, theproposed Multilingual Communication Systemisdevelopedtotranslatetext, voice, images, PDFdocuments, and videos into different languages. The system is developedusing Pythonandusestechnologies like Speech Recognition, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Machine Translation, and Text-to-Speech (TTS). Users can give input through text, voice, images, PDFs, and videos. The system automatically detects the language and translates the content into the selected language. The project uses Google Translator APIs for translation, Tesseract OCR for extracting text from images and PDF files, and Speech Recognition APIsforconvertingspeechintotext. It alsouses Google Text-to-Speech (gTTS) to converttranslatedtext into audiooutput. A simple graphical user interface is designed using CustomTkinter for easy and smooth usage. The proposed system reduces manual work, improves communication, and provides an effective solution for multilingual communication. This project demonstrates the use of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, OCR, and multimedia processing technologies in real-world applications.
KEYWORDS
The Multilingual Communication System successfully combines language translation, OCR, speech recognition, and multimedia processing into a single intelligent platform. The system is capable of supporting multiple languages and handling various input formats such as text, voice, images, PDF documents, and video files efficiently. The project helps improve communication accessibility by reducing language barriers and simplifying multilingual interaction in modern digital environments. By integrating advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, OCR, and Text-to-Speech, the system provides a practical and user-friendly solution for real-time communication and translation needs. The implemented system demonstrated reliable performance in processing and translating content from different media sources while reducing manual effort and improving user enhanced the overall usability of the application. In the future, the system can be further improved by adding features such as offline translation support, AI-based conversational translation, cloud storage integration, and mobile application support. Additional enhancements may also include real-time chatbot communication, improved speech accuracy, and support for more regional and international languages. Overall, the project demonstrates how intelligent technologies can be effectively used to build a smart multilingual communication platform for real-world applications.
