Abstract

The integration of Industry 4.0 technologies has significantly transformed supply chain management by enhancing efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness. This study examines the role of digitalization—specifically Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data Analytics, and Cloud Computing—in modern supply chains. Using a descriptive research design supported by primary and secondary data, the study analyzes the impact of these technologies on operational performance and decision-making. The findings indicate that digitalization improves supply chain agility and reduces operational costs, but challenges such as high implementation costs, lack of skilled workforce, and data security concerns hinder adoption. The paper contributes to the growing body of knowledge on digital supply chains and provides recommendations for organizations aiming to transition toward Industry 4.0.
