The Gram Samridhi Portal is a web-based digital platform designed to modernize and streamline the functioning of rural local governance systems. The system focuses on transforming traditional village administration into a transparent, efficient, and user- friendly digital ecosystem. It enables citizens to access essential services such as applying for government schemes, requesting certificates (birth, death, and marriage), and making online payments for taxes including water and property tax. The portal provides comprehensive information about the village, including details of Gram Panchayat members, population statistics, and ongoing development activities. A dedicated complaint management system allows citizens to register and track issues related to village infrastructure and services, thereby improving accountability and responsiveness. The system follows a centralized and secure architecture where administrative control is maintained by authorized personnel, ensuring data integrity and privacy. By reducing manual processes and enabling online service delivery, the portal enhances accessibility, minimizes paperwork, and saves time for both citizens and officials. This project aligns with the principles of e-governance by strengthening government-tocitizen interaction, promoting transparency, and supporting rural development through digital inclusion. The Gram Samridhi Portal aims to bridge the gap between rural communities and digital services, contributing to the vision of smart villages and sustainable governance.
