Abstract

Tax planning plays an important role in personal financial management by helping investors reduce tax liability while creating long-term wealth. This study examines the tax-saving benefits of mutual fund investments with reference to ICICI Prudential Mutual Funds. A descriptive and analytical research design was adopted using primary and secondary data collected from 100 investors through a structured questionnaire. The original project employed Percentage Analysis, Tabular Analysis, and Descriptive Interpretation for analysing the collected information. The findings reveal that Equity Linked Savings Schemes (ELSS) provide significant tax advantages, portfolio diversification, professional fund management, and attractive long-term investment opportunities, making them an effective instrument for tax-efficient financial planning.
