Taxonomic Study of Medicinal Plants in Àmbikapur (District - Surguja) Chhattisgarh (INDIA) With Special Reference to Traditional Medicine

This present pepar communicates potentially important medicinal plants with reference to their Taxonomy threat in flowering ,fruiting period’s, present status in field , traditional uses and ecological diversity.diffrents parts of plant species uses as a traditional medicine.The species are collected and study Surguja district region in Chhattisgarh state.Thestate of Chhattisgarh has about 44.21%of its geographical area covered with forests. It lies between 23o 37’ 25’’ To 24o 6’ 17’’ north latitude and 81o 34’40’’ To 84o 4’40’’ east longitude.Surguja district received the least average rainfall of 590.7 mm.About 58% of the area in the district lies under forests. The district Surguja has a very rich flora exhibiting diversity especially of medicinal plants.
