Aspirin is a common over-the-counter medication that has been used for centuries to relieve pain, fever, and inflammation. In recent years, it has also been shown to have beneficial effects on blood vessels. Aspirin can help to reduce blood clotting, dilate blood vessels, and prevent plaque buildup. These effects can help to protect against heart disease, stroke, and other vascular diseases. This paper reviews the current evidence on the effects of aspirin on blood vessels. It discusses the mechanisms by which aspirin exerts its effects, as well as the clinical trials that have evaluated the efficacy and safety of aspirin for the prevention and treatment of vascular diseases.
