Ticketless entry systems have gained popularity in recent years as a way to enhance visitor experiences and streamline entry processes. In this paper, we explore the implementation of a ticketless entry system in a popular monument and museum site in order to understand the benefits and challenges of such a system. Using a case study approach, we examine the process of implementing a ticketless entry system, including the technological infrastructure, visitor behavior, and visitor satisfaction. Our findings suggest that ticketless entry systems can improve visitor experiences by reducing wait times and increasing convenience, but can also present challenges in terms of security and visitor management. We conclude by discussing the implications of our findings for other monuments and museums considering implementing a ticketless entry system.
