Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a game-changing technology with the potential to completely disrupt the healthcare industry. In the healthcare sector, artificial intelligence (AI) applications are being developed and used in a variety of fields, including patient monitoring, administration, and diagnoses and treatment. This study gives a broad review of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare today, outlining its advantages, difficulties, and potential. It examines the applications of AI to drug development, genomics, clinical decision support systems, medical imaging, and personalized medicine. The importance of human-AI collaboration in the context of AI applications in healthcare is also discussed, along with ethical issues, legal frameworks, and regulatory frameworks. This study seeks to advance knowledge of AI’s potential to enhance healthcare by examining existing research and case examples.
