The aviation industry plays a critical role in global connectivity, trade, and tourism. Understanding and analyzing travel demand is essential for effective capacity planning, route development, revenue management, and policy formulation. In recent years, travel demand has been influenced by various dynamic factors, including economic growth, population mobility, urbanization, pandemics, environmental concerns, and technological advancements. Airports and airlines must continuously adapt to these shifts to optimize operations and meet passenger expectations. The primary objective of this study is to explore the key factors influencing travel demand in the aviation sector and evaluate the patterns, trends, and implications of changing passenger behavior. The study also aims to identify strategies for demand forecasting, capacity alignment, and resilience-building in response to fluctuations in air travel demand.
