The University Resource System is a Java based desktop application designed to automate and streamline administrative and academic operations of a university. The system integrates core functionalities[1] such as student and faculty information management, applications, examination processing, fee management, and utility tools like Notepad, Calculator, and Web Browser into a single platform. Developed using Java Swing for the graphical user interface and[2,3] MySQL for database management, the system ensures secure data storage, real time updates, and efficient retrieval of information. Features like role-based access, record search, data updates,[4]and report generation enhance administrative efficiency while minimizin g human errors and paperwork[5]. This project demonstrates the practical application of object- oriented programmi ng, database connectivity through JDBC[6], and modular system design, providing a scalable, user- friendly solution for manag ement.
