Abstract

The oil and gas sector is a major contributor to the Qatari economy, This research paper will provide a comprehensive overview of the oil & gas industry in Qatar and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the sector in the coming years. It will then analyse the current state of the sector, including its size, structure, and performance. The paper will then discuss the key challenges facing the sector, including the transition to clean energy, the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and the increasing competition from renewable energy sources. The paper will conclude by discussing the opportunities and the future of this sector. The paper will be based on a review of the existing literature, it will be written in a clear and concise style, and it will be of interest to policymakers, businesses, and other stakeholders in the oil and gas sector.
