With immersive experiences that mimic actual locations, virtual reality (VR) tourism is becoming a disruptive force in the travel sector. Through the analysis of survey data and inferential statistical techniques, this study investigates the innovations, market potential, and difficulties of virtual reality tourism. The results show that there is no reliance on prior knowledge of VR technology and that interest in VR tourism is present across all age groups. The findings show that in order to promote adoption, better marketing plans, content creation, and accessibility upgrades are required. Businesses, legislators, and scholars looking into the future of virtual tourism can all benefit from the studyâs insightful findings.
