Abstract

Flexibility is defined as the capacity of a building to undergo modifications and accept changes of function with limited structural interventions It defines flexible construction as: ‘Drylining or horizontal or vertical supporting construction consisting of studs or joists, including linings and optional insulation’ It in relation to a flexible partition. ‘A metal stud drylined partition is defined as a flexible partition in a fire test.
