Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems play a vital role in industrial automation by enabling real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes. Traditional SCADA systems require extensive wiring, increasing installation and maintenance costs. This paper presents a Wireless SCADA System using Arduino, Zigbee communication, and Python software for efficient monitoring and remote control. The system acquires real-time temperature, voltage, and current data using sensors connected to an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The collected data is transmitted wirelessly through Zigbee modules to a monitoring station where a Python-based SCADA interface displays live readings and graphical trends. The system also supports remote load control through relay modules. Experimental results demonstrate reliable wireless communication, real-time monitoring, and efficient control, making the proposed system suitable for industrial automation, smart buildings, and educational applications.
KEYWORDS
This paper presented the design and implementation of a Wireless SCADA System using Arduino, Zigbee communication, and Python software. The system successfully monitors temperature, voltage, and current parameters while providing remote control functionality through a wireless communication network. The developed system demonstrates reliable performance, reduced installation cost, and improved flexibility compared to conventional wired SCADA systems. The proposed solution can be effectively utilized in industrial automation, smart buildings, and educational applications.
