The concept of Nari Shakti signifies the inherent strength, resilience, and potential of women as agents of social and economic change. In the digital era, technology has emerged as a powerful catalyst in enhancing womenâs empowerment by expanding access to education, employment, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and governance. This paper examines the role of digital technologies in transforming the socio-economic status of women in India. It explores how digital literacy, e-governance initiatives, online entrepreneurship, digital financial services, and social media platforms contribute to womenâs empowerment. The study also highlights challenges such as the digital gender divide, lack of infrastructure, cybersecurity risks, and socio-cultural barriers. The paper concludes that while digitalization offers unprecedented opportunities for strengthening Nari Shakti, inclusive policies and targeted interventions are essential to ensure equitable and sustainable empowerment.
