Abstract

Recruitment and selection are critical Human Resource Management functions that enable organizations to attract, identify, and retain talented employees capable of contributing to organizational growth and long-term sustainability. This study examines the effectiveness of recruitment and selection practices adopted by Sigma Slotting Corporation by analysing recruitment sources, candidate screening, interview methods, selection fairness, transparency, employee satisfaction, and organizational performance. A descriptive research design was adopted using both primary and secondary data collected from 100 employees through a structured questionnaire. For analytical purposes, Correlation Analysis was applied to examine the relationship between recruitment effectiveness and organizational performance. The findings indicate that effective recruitment sources, transparent selection procedures, structured interviews, and fair evaluation practices significantly improve workforce quality, employee satisfaction, productivity, and organizational growth. The study concludes that strategic recruitment and selection practices play a vital role in strengthening talent acquisition, reducing employee turnover, and enhancing the long-term success of start-up organizations.
