The increasing adoption of multi-cloud computing in the banking sector has significantly improved scalability, availability, and operational flexibility. However, the distributed nature of multi-cloud infrastructures introduces complex security challenges, including identity compromise, insider attacks, unauthorized access, and advanced persistent threats. Traditional perimeter-based security models are inadequate for protecting modern banking applications that operate across heterogeneous cloud platforms. This paper proposes an AI-Driven Zero Trust Security Framework (AI-ZTSF) for secure banking transactions in multi-cloud environments. The framework combines Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), machine learning-based anomaly detection, continuous authentication, adaptive access control, and behavioral analytics. The proposed model continuously evaluates trust scores for users, devices, and transactions before granting access. Experimental evaluation demonstrates improved detection accuracy, reduced false positives, and enhanced transaction security compared with conventional security mechanisms. The framework is suitable for modern banking ecosystems requiring real-time threat mitigation and regulatory compliance.
KEYWORDS
This paper presented an AI-Driven Zero Trust Security Framework for secure banking transactions in multi-cloud environments. The proposed framework integrates continuous verification, behavioral analytics, machine learning-based anomaly detection, and adaptive policy enforcement. Experimental analysis demonstrated superior performance compared with traditional security models. Future work will focus on federated learning, blockchain-based audit trails, and post-quantum cryptographic integration for next-generation banking security.
