Employee satisfaction and employee performance are closely connected and play a significant role in achieving organizational success. This analytical study examines how employee satisfaction influences individual performance, productivity, motivation, commitment, and overall organizational effectiveness. The study focuses on key factors affecting employee satisfaction, including compensation, training and development, work environment, leadership, recognition, career growth opportunities, work-life balance, and job security. A quantitative research approach is adopted using structured questionnaires to collect primary data from employees, while secondary data are gathered from books, journals, research articles, and organizational reports. The collected data are analysed using appropriate statistical techniques to identify the relationship between employee satisfaction and performance. The findings indicate that higher levels of employee satisfaction lead to improved productivity, enhanced work quality, increased employee engagement, lower absenteeism, reduced turnover intentions, and stronger organizational commitment. The study concludes that organizations that invest in employee well-being and create a supportive work environment are more likely to achieve sustained employee performance and long-term business success.
KEYWORDS
The study concludes that employee satisfaction is a key factor influencing employee performance and overall organizational effectiveness. A positive work environment, fair reward and recognition practices, supportive management, career development opportunities, and a healthy work-life balance contribute significantly to improving employee satisfaction. Satisfied employees are more motivated, committed, productive, and willing to contribute towards achieving organizational goals. The findings indicate that most respondents expressed positive opinions regarding work-life balance and the organization's reward system. However, the Chi-Square analysis revealed that there is no statistically significant relationship between employees' perception of work-life balance and the fairness of rewards for good performance. This suggests that employees evaluate these aspects independently, although both contribute to overall job satisfaction.
